QUALIFYING CANDIDATES TO MEET YOUR NEEDS Personnel Resources believes the most critical aspect of employee placement is qualifying the potential employee. “Qualified” to Personnel Resources means not only does the applicant possess the skills to do the job, but they also do not possess any limitations that would stop them from performing that skill. In other words, it's not enough that they can operate a computer, but they also must be able to use the software that your company uses on that computer and they can work the hours that you need. To properly qualify a potential direct hire, temp-to-hire, or temporary placement, we will work with you to understand exactly what you need in the placement. Our staff is available to come visit with you and review your needs and expectations. Once we have a clear understanding of your needs we then can qualify potential placements. How do we Qualify? Step 1: Every applicant must fill out our application - then we verify the information. That means references are checked and past positions verified. Step 2: We review and test their skills. (i.e.: If an applicant indicates they know MS Word, we test them on MS Word.) Step 3: We review their attitude, work performance and needs. It does not make sense to send you an applicant who does not like or cannot be away from home if traveling is part of the job requirements. We verify the availability and interest in the position before we submit their file to you. Step 4: Finally, we review all the information about the applicant and decide if they are the best qualified for your open position. Then, and only then, do we recommend them to you for your review process. We feel that our qualifying procedure ensures that you will only receive candidates that can perform all of the tasks needed and without any restrictions that would stop them from performing those tasks.
